Dear all,
I will be teaching a summer course called "Everyday Ethnography" to gifted
6th and 7th graders. I am on the hunt for classrooms activities, reading
materials, videos, and any other sources for teaching cultural anthropology
at the middle or high school level. The goals of the course are to have
students appreciate human diversity, comprehend foundational theories in
anthropology, and learn ethnographic research skills.
Any ideas would be much appreciated. It seems best to reply to me
privately to keep from jamming up inboxes. I would be happy to compile a
list of resources for anyone else who is interested.
Thanks all.
Emma
