Dear All
I don't like playing the 'controller' here, but before this goes further
or gets worse, as list moderator for the ASA, I think it's necessary to
state:
* the general consensus seems to be that the kids books Q&A comes
under the sharing of knowledge/books that is part of the function of
this list
* as members of this list you will receive Q&A that interest you and
those which don't. Given that generally (until just now) the traffic
across this list is light, I think the need to delete those which
don't interest is not onerous
* replies to sender don't contribute as much to the sum of knowledge,
so it does make sense to reply to the list, even if this results in
more having a few more to delete
* while prejudice needs pointing out (along with relevant political
background), I think that in this case that's now been done, and no
great value comes from repetition.
* swearing across the list can cause offence and should be avoided
where possible.
So dear list members, please move on. Continue to share bibliographical
references as per normal and have a peaceful Easter weekend.
Rohan
