The University of Salford is still inviting further expressions of interest for an external advisor to comment on the new programme approval for the MSc Ecologies of Cities (School of the Built Environment).
This will take place on Tuesday 6 June 2017 (time TBC, please indicate if morning or afternoon is preferable) and will last approximately 1-2 hours at the most.
The successful applicant should have experience in teaching and examining at a UK HE institution, have a good understanding of quality assurance issues at HE level, including the QAA Quality Code, and have specific subject knowledge in the programme(s) being considered.
Documentation will be shared with you one week prior to the event. Your role will be to prepare for the event by scrutinising the documents and highlighting any issues/areas you would like to further explore at the meeting. Areas for consideration will include partnership links, quality and standards, teaching and learning, and the student experience.
You will be expected to share fully in the discussions in terms of challenges and developments from your own experiences and compare this with the proposals outlined in the documentation.
