Dear Katie and Meg,
Actually the only thing that should be in the path when starting SPM is
the main SPM folder *without* its sub-folders. If the the toolbox is
correctly interfaced, then it will be automatically added when launching
SPM.
If it's "stand alone" code, then it would rather be placed outside SPM
(sub-)folder(s) and be added added to your path on its own.
