Fully-funded PhD studentship, University of East Anglia
What: A fully-funded studentship is being offered at the University of East Anglia. It will provide an exciting opportunity to undertake exploratory work into understanding the impact of population-level physical activity interventions by identifying opportunities for the evaluation of novel programmes and interventions and working to understand their impact. The precise focus of the research will depend on the interests of the successful candidate. The studentship could have a methodological focus, advancing our methodological understanding of how real-world interventions might be pragmatically evaluated. Alternatively, the research might concentrate on a particular intervention theme, for understanding example the role of incorporating elements of gamification into physical activity programmes. The studentship will benefit from being part of CEDAR (www.cedar.iph.cam.ac.uk<http://www.cedar.iph.cam.ac.uk>) the UKCRC Centre of Excellence in Diet and Activity Research, a collaboration between the University of East Anglia and the University of Cambridge.
Additional Information: For further details please see the job advert: http://www.uea.ac.uk/study/-/understanding-the-active-ingredients-of-population-physical-activity-interventions-
Where: University of East Anglia
Deadline: 31st March 2017
