Venue: Showroom & Workstation, 15 Paternoster Row, Sheffield, S1 2BX http://www.showroomworkstation.org.uk/workstation/
We are delighted to invite you to a seminar led by Joe Holliday and Holly Greenberry from Intersex UK. Joe Holliday is an intersex man whose biography 'She's a Boy' became one of Amazon’s top selling books. Joe has been a prominent intersex campaigner for many years. Holly Greenberry, one of the co-founders of IntersexUK, was the first intersex woman to address the UN Plenary in Geneva. The seminar will address the medical treatment of Intersex traits, the rights of the child and other human rights issues, and best practices for professionals. It will highlight the lived experiences of people with Intersex traits.
