Hi!
I am in the initial stages of planning a new digital project at the National Gallery, which will involve creating a 3D visualisation of a church that was the original home for one of our paintings, that will be experienced by our visitors via VR in the Gallery.
The church still stands today, but has undergone several important changes. I therefore want the visualisation to represent, as accurately as possible, the appearance of the church in the late sixteenth century, when our work was first installed. I also want to recreate the soundscape and the effect of natural and artificial lighting.
I am currently looking for potential collaborators who can deliver the digital aspects of the project, as well as ballpark figures for costs.
Has anyone out there had experience of doing something similar, what has your experience been and who have you worked with?
Any suggestions and feedback from your own experiences greatly appreciated!
Many thanks,
Rebecca
