JOB DESCRIPTION:
Applications are currently being invited for a research assistant position in the Center for the Biomedical Imaging and Neuromodulation (C-BIN), under the direction of Drs. Charles Schroeder and Michael Milham. A primary responsibility of this position will be the the acquisition, processing and analysis of human and non-human primte datasets. Imaging modalities to be handled include functional MRI, structural MRI, and diffusion imaging; EEG data will be collected as well. This position is being funded as part of an award from the NIH BRAIN Initiative.
JOB DUTIES:
Perform data quality assurance.
Perform image processing and analysis of fMRI, MRI, DTI and EEG datasets.
Coordinate and assist with data collection.
Database management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The minimum qualifications for a successful candidate include:
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Neuroscience, or other related scientific fields.
Proficient in programming C/C++, Matlab, Python or R.
Experience with one or more MRI data analysis packages (e.g., AFNI, FSL or SPM) is preferred, but not required.
Ability to work effectively in a very collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.
