Dear colleagues,
We at the Refugee Law Initiative are pleased to release the draft programme for our upcoming 2nd Annual Conference (to be held 5-7 June, 2017). Please find the programme on our website at http://rli.sas.ac.uk/sites/default/files/files/2nd%20RLI%20Conf%20Draft%20Programme.pdf. Visit the website at http://rli.sas.ac.uk/annual-conference/second-annual-conference for further details, including registration.
The RLI Annual Conference offers a dedicated annual forum to share and debate latest research and cutting-edge developments in refugee law and protection. This year’s special theme – ‘Mass Influx? Law, Policy and Large-Scale Movements of Refugees and Migrants’ - reflects a need to re-examine complex issues surrounding large-scale sudden movements of persons across borders, as we move from the 2016 New York Declaration on Refugees and Migrants towards adoption of the Global Compacts in 2018.
Please note that we are still accepting poster submissions for the conference. Posters can address the conference's special theme, or can focus on another topic on law, policy and practice relation to refugees, IDPs, stateless persons and forced migrants. Email your poster submissions to [log in to unmask] by 12 May 2017.
Best wishes,
