Subject: BBC research enquiry
Hello,
I hope my email finds you well. My name is Isabella Silver, and I am a researcher for the BBC’s Who Do You Think You Are? I am hoping you might be help me with a research query.
We are doing some research into a family who can trace their roots to the Caribbean islands to Carriacou, Grenada, Trinidad and St Vincent. We are looking for some experts to help us find out more. Might you be able to put us in contact with some members of your centre? We are particularly looking for experts in the following fields:
· The abolition of slavery in Grenada and Carriacou
· The continuation of African cultural roots in Grenada and Carriacou
· The independence movement of Trinidad
· Return migration between the Caribbean and the US
Even more general experts on the region as a whole would be excellent. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Isabella
