Dear colleagues,
I would be grateful if you could pass on the information below to any
students who might be interested in or benefit from our Masters programme
(with apologies for cross-posting).
MSc in Business Translation and Interpreting at University of Strathclyde
This is a one-year postgraduate taught course that is designed to meet the
high market demand for specialised translators and interpreters in global
industry and commerce. The programme is practice-oriented with a clear focus
on developing participants’ professional knowledge and skills in business
translation and interpreting. Participants will gain invaluable translation
and interpreting experience though a wide range of industry-based
activities.
The MSc is intended for those who have good bilingual/multilingual
proficiency and are keen to develop their translation and interpreting
knowledge and skills; for translation practitioners who want to gain a more
up-to-date understanding of the theory and practice; for language learners
who want to polish their language proficiency; and for those who wish to
develop and extend their professional expertise in business translation and
interpreting for their future career. It is also a stepping-stone for any
individual who wants to pursue a Ph.D. in the field of translation and/or
