Unlock Funding Through Your Volunteers and Friends
Wednesday 12th July 2017, Taunton - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/fundraising-for-archives-friends-groups-volunteers-tickets-31963270001
There are examples within the sector of Friends Groups working in partnership with their service to enable the archive to meet its aims; using their time, networks and skills to generate a regular income. This session looks at some of these examples and what we can learn from them. We will cover:
* How can Friends and volunteers contribute to fundraising
* How can you develop a shared vision and fundraising goal with Friends and volunteers
* Different models of Friends groups and how these can best suit fundraising
* Structure and governance of Friends groups
* Fundraising activities that Friends and volunteers could undertake- basic and experienced
This course will create the environment in which you can step back and consider your current working relationship with your Friends Group and your volunteers. Could you get them fundraising? What would you need to do to enable them to effectively raise money? What support is there to help you do this? These are all questions which will be answered on the day.
We hope to see you there.
Kindest regards,
Nicola
