Coventry University School of Energy, Construction and Environment is looking to appoint an Academic Development Officer in GIS. This new position will support teaching and research in a highly successful School and there are opportunities to work across BIM, GIS and Earth observation depending on the expertise of the person appointed.
You will have wide experience of
- GIS, including but not limited to the use of ArcGIS,
- image processing and statistical analysis such as ENVI and R,
- knowledge of a wide range of geospatial data, and
- research interests that complement those that exist in the School.
Applicants from academia will have experience and success of delivering high-quality teaching. Applicants from practice would be expected to demonstrate experience of training/mentoring and a portfolio of relevant project and professional experience that can be used to inform the teaching and learning experience of our students.
