Dear Colleagues,
Please join us for the free film screening of A Plastic Ocean, an action documentary where an international team of adventurers, researchers, and Ocean ambassadors go on a mission around the globe to uncover the shocking truth about what is truly lurking beneath the surface of our seemingly pristine Ocean. The film’s message aims to raise the awareness of plastic pollution and the existing solutions.
Portsmouth is perfectly placed for this message as an active maritime city surrounded by marine wildlife in the Solent. This session is open to all to attend and contributes towards the University's continuing efforts to engage the public in STEM research. The screening will be followed by an extended question and answer with our resident marine and microplastics experts.
The event is open to all to attend, so if you are in the area, please feel free to come along and bring family & friends.
Where: University of Portsmouth
When: 23rd March 6:30pm - 9pm
