Hi everyone
An osteological challenge:
I recently received as an enquiry a fragmentary skull from the west coast of Scotland (no other data). Clearly a juvenile from the extent of fusion of bones in the skull roof. Leaning towards a sheep rather than goat (looking at different skulls in our collection, and particularly at the shape of the zygomatic arch, and morphology of the occipital region) area but would greatly value a second opinion please. I attach several different images from different aspects; ventral, dorsal, left lateral and occipital/dorsal views,
Please reply off list to me: [log in to unmask]
Many thanks in advance
