Apologies for cross posting

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to draw you attention to a Public Lecture at the University of Wolverhampton that might be of interest.

The lecture is presented by Professor Andy Westwood and takes place on 15th March, 2017, commencing at 5pm in Chancellor's Hall on our Wolverhampton City Campus.

Entitled The Politics of Higher Education Reform in England, this lecture will describe the higher education reforms in England introduced in this Parliament, consider how they have evolved and the politics that surrounds them. Particular attention will be given to the White Paper: 'Success in a Knowledge Economy' and to the subsequent HE & Research Bill as it continues through both Houses of Parliament towards legislation. What will it mean for universities, students, graduates and research in England?

The Lecture is free, but booking is essential. Bookings can be made via https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-university-of-wolverhampton-lecture-by-professor-andy-westwood-tickets-26441265537

Directions to the University of Wolverhampton can be found here http://www.wlv.ac.uk/about-us/contacts-and-maps/all-maps-and-directions/map-and-directions-for-city-campus-wolverhampton/. Chancellor’s Hall is on Wulfruna Campus and is located in the Wulfruna Building (MA).
