Themes:
This conference explores how the three issues of city development, community and housing need, all combine to make lives in our cities livable – or not. Delegates will present on new urban environments, housing models and sustainable development and building approaches. It also invites presentations on sustainable communities, housing struggles, participatory design and more

Reflecting these three strands, the conference is an ideal opportunity for sociologists, community organisers, health professionals, human geographers, planners and urban designers to critique their own work in the context of analysis offered by colleagues from other sectors. In each case, the aim is to share ideas on how to make our cities livable in the 21st Century.

Keynotes:
Keynotes from European Council of Spatial Planners and Royal Town Planning Institute. Other keynotes from the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment, Royal institute of British Architects, National Housing Federation, and more.
