We are pleased to announce that the 2nd CARISCC PGR Conference will take place on 8th March, 2017 at the University of Leeds, UK. The theme of the conference is 'Reading Caribbean In/Securities for Creativity' and the event is funded by the Leverhulme Trust.
Keynote speakers include:
* Fine artist Sonia Barrett<http://www.sebarrett.com/about>, who has been commissioned by CARISCC and Union 105/ East Street Arts to address the theme of Caribbean in/securities and creativity;
* Award-winning writer Malika Booker<http://malikabooker.com/>, Douglas Caster Cultural Fellow at the University of Leeds; and
* CARISCC network member Dr Rivke Jaffe<http://www.birmingham.ac.uk/research/activity/cariscc/network-members.aspx>, Professor of Cities, Politics and Culture at the University of Amsterdam.
