You must have an international research reputation, and teaching interests, in Chinese politics with particular reference to one of the following sub-fields: comparative politics; Chinese domestic politics; international politics; political economy; Chinese international relations.
You will be located within the discipline area of Politics within the University's School of Social Sciences and you will be expected to develop and lead a renewed focus on the study of Chinese politics at Manchester. The role will support the establishment of a Centre for China Studies in the Faculty of Humanities and drive forward the development of a critical mass of high quality research expertise in the broad area of Chinese Political Economy and International Relations.
Presentations and Interviews will take place on Tuesday, 25 April 2017.
