Please find attached a call for papers for an International Conference on Well-being and Education organized by the Lab School Network. It will take place in Paris on October 2-4, 2017.

In English:
The conference proposes to examine well-being in education under three themes:
• Theme 1: Theoretical and practical approaches to well-being in education – this theme addresses the topic of life skills and the notion of empowerment
• Theme 2: Promoting well-being through learning environments – this theme is concerned with the physical and digital learning environments that support and enhance learner well-being
• Theme 3: School climate and communal life – this theme examines learning as a social and cooperative endeavour and stresses the importance of the school climate
Extended deadline for submitting abstracts: March 8, 2017.
Proposals for papers, oral or in poster form, will include:
– a title
– an abstract (3,000 characters at the most, including spaces and bibliography) which will contain: an outline of the paper, the subjects it covers, the methodologies used. Please mention the main theme into which the paper falls.
– 3 to 5 keywords
– last and first names, position, institutional affiliation, and e-mail contact of the author(s).

Le bien-être en éducation y sera décliné selon trois thématiques :
la première, Approches théoriques et pratiques du bien-être dans l’éducation, se situe dans la lignée des savoir-être et de la question du développement du pouvoir d’agir (empowerment, parfois également nommé capacitation)
la deuxième, Espaces d’apprentissage et bien-être, renvoie à l’environnement d’apprentissage qu’il soit physique ou numérique
la troisième, Climat scolaire et vivre ensemble, renvoie au fait que le bien-être doit aussi être pensé dans le cadre d’un collectif
La date limite pour la soumission des propositions est reportée au 8 mars 2017.
Les propositions de communication, orale ou affichée (poster), comporteront :
– un titre
– un résumé (3000 signes maximum, espaces et bibliographie compris) comprenant : une présentation de la communication, les objets et les méthodes. Merci d'indiquer l’axe dans lequel s’inscrit la proposition
– 3 à 5 mots clés
– le nom, prénom, statut, rattachement institutionnel et l’adresse électronique du ou des auteurs.
