The NIMBLE computational statistics software project at the University of California, Berkeley, is hiring a programmer. NIMBLE provides a new implementation of the BUGS language in R, a system for programming algorithms such as MCMC, particle filtering, and others from R, and a compiler that generates model- and algorithm-specific C++ and gives the R user a seamless interface to the resulting compiled C++. Important skills therefore include R and C++ programming. For more information on the programmer position, please see r-nimble.org.
