The UK Statistics Authority’s regulatory function has been launched as the new Office for Statistics Regulation. This is an exciting time for the new Office, which will have the public value of statistics at the heart of its work, and will adopt a strategic and systemic focus, looking at the value of statistics and data to the public. Taking charge of all regulations around statistics and statistics work, you will support the Office’s continued evolution and transformation towards becoming more strategic, forward looking and responsive to changes in the wider environment.
We will look to you to lead an ambitious programme of work reforming our regulatory approach, including providing intellectual leadership on how to adapt the work of the Office in a changing world; the development of new capabilities including horizon scanning and digital services; and more proactive public interventions on the use of statistics.
As Deputy Director, you will report directly to the Director General for Regulation who, in turn, reports to the Chair of the UK Statistics Authority.....
