Dear all,
We're about to set up a new studio specifically to capture framed
artworks. The artworks range in size, but the vast majority are under 2m
along the longest edge.
I've drawn up a list of equipment - but would appreciate any thoughts or
suggestions on the camera and lighting choices.
Camera:
Hasselblad H6D-100c with either:
HC 2,8/80mm
HCD 4,0-5,6/35-90mm
I would prefer to use the prime lens and mount the camera on a fixed
rail or dolly system to make adjustment for different sized paintings.
My chief photographer would prefer the flexibility of a zoom lens. Any
thoughts?
Lights:
2 x Kino Flo 4ft 4Bank
I'd be interested to hear about any experience of this camera and/or
lenses, or if anybody is using florescent tube or LED lighting for
capturing artwork.
I'm open to suggestion on all parts of this set up - so feel free to
comment!
Many thanks
Scott
