Hi Martin
We have a Digital Transformation Project and I am involved in the staff digital capabilities workstream. Some of the work has come out of a project I jointly managed my colleague, Julie Adams, at the University last year called Digital U. We developed values based on the JISC digital capabilities work. The resources we have collated are available on our www.staffs.ac.uk/digitalu web site. The library and technology enhanced learning team in the Academic Development Unit and Digital Services staff jointly run events across the University to support the development of staff digital capabilities.
Happy to have a conference call to discuss this in more detail, send me a direct email.
Regards
Vicki

Subject: Staff Digital Skills
Hello,
I'd be really grateful if people would be willing to share information about any projects or initiatives that are happening, or have already happened, in your institutions around developing staff digital skills.
We're interested in many different angles:
- Initiatives for particular staff groups, whatever the group
- University-wide staff digital skills initiatives
- Initiatives for Library staff in particular
We're particularly interested in learning more about:
- Any training needs identified
- Any programmes or support offered as a result
- Measuring impact
We're also interested to find out if anyone is using "digital competencies descriptors" in any way. For example, having defined descriptors for particular teams or groups of staff to help inform their priorities for digital skills and personal development.
If you would be happy to share your own experiences of staff digital skills development projects, or put us in touch with people who might, we would be most grateful.
Many thanks,
Martin
