In our Pricing Team you will demonstrate and further develop your excellent analytical skills in building complex models, which you will have cultivated in a previous statistical and/or pricing environment.
You’ll have the opportunity to lead on the development of our pricing models across different products using advanced statistical methods, regression and machine learning approaches.
What will it take?
We are looking for someone who has already taken their first steps into their analytical career and has demonstrated their ability to turn statistical models and innovative analysis into value-adding business ideas/propositions. The ideal candidate is also highly numerate, with a graduate, or postgraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or another analytical subject. You’ll also have prior and demonstrable experience in software packages such as SAS or R.
You’ll have the capability to learn and develop a deep understanding of products, distribution and operating models paying attention to the key details and using best practice approaches. You’ll be confident, self-motivated and have strong communications skills and are able to clearly convey complex concepts to a range of stakeholders. Knowledge of the insurance industry and experience of Earnix would also be an advantage, but it is not essential.
