Qualitative Interviewing in Health Research:
From design to publication
2 day workshop: 14th and 15th June 2017
The Institute of Health & Society, Newcastle University and Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Northumbria University are pleased to announce that they will be jointly running the fourth Qualitative Interviewing in Health Research workshop. The workshop will be facilitated by experienced qualitative researchers: Professor Catherine Exley and Dr Katie Brittain, Northumbria University and Dr Tim Rapley, Newcastle University.
This two day workshop introduces those working in universities and clinical roles to the processes and practices of qualitative interviewing in applied health research. It is
friendly and interactive workshop and takes researchers, new to qualitative interviewing, through all stages of the design, conduct and analysis. There are lots of opportunities to discuss your own work or ideas, and to hear from other researchers about their experiences.
The workshop will take place on 14th and 15th June 2017 at Newcastle University.
The fee for attending the workshop is £360.

I've never been to a course with such a comfortable group & atmosphere! Use of real example of research was brilliant! Lots of tips taken!
The whole of the two days helped to give really practical examples as to how certain aspects of research could be carried out.
Gave me lots and lots to think about and new ways to approach problems/issues. I would thoroughly recommend it, even to those with qual experience!
