Dear colleagues,
With apologies for shameless self-promotion - some of you may be interested in my new book, British Children's Cinema: From the Thief of Bagdad to Wallace and Gromit. It's a cultural/analytical history of children's films in Britain, from the beginnings of the 20th century to the present, taking in the likes of The Thief of Bagdad, Hue and Cry, The Kidnappers, The Railway Children, Oliver!, Aardman and Harry Potter, as well as the Children's Film Foundation and much besides.
