Dear colleagues
If you are near Bournemouth, please come along tomorrow to our annual Awards event, celebrating innovative digital storytelling from across the world. We have great work on show from Australia, the US, Spain, Lithuania, Portugal, and Canada, to mention a few.
Our speaker is JR Carpenter, a really brilliant award-winning digital writer and artist.
We will also be speaking to the prize winners, and there is a free buffet and drinks after-party.
We have four categories of prizes, including the Gorkana Awards for digital journalism, and the Dot Award for the best idea for a new project.
Starts at 6pm in the Allsebrooke Lecture Theatre, Bournemouth University, Talbot Campus; will be finished by 8.30, and then you are welcome to eat and drink with us afterwards in Poole House Atrium.
Go to the NMWP website for more info on the shortlisters: http://newmediawritingprize.co.uk/
Go to Eventbrite to register for a free place (or just turn up!) https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/new-media-writing-prize-2016-awards-evening-tickets-27927348451?aff=Student

(PS If you really can’t make it, we are live streaming the whole event at http://original.livestream.com/bournemouthuniversitytvchannel )
Regards
Jim Pope
