Dear FSL forum,
I would like to use eddy with the multi band (--mb) option but have a question regarding the order of the slice groupings.
In the example given on FSL's eddy page, it assumes the slice groupings to be interleaved ("if total number of slices is 15 and mb=3, slices 0,5,10 are one group, 1,6,11 the next group... etc. for the remaining slices".
In the data i'm working with, also mb=3 (81 total slices), in addition to the slice groupings being interleaved, the order of the slice groupings are interleaved alternating between higher and lower slices (1,28,55 are acquired followed by 15,42,69 followed by 2,29,56, then 16,43,70 and so on up to 27,54,81).
My question is are the order of the slice groupings important?
