Dear Caroline,
it's a heavily corroded Sparganium erectum (agg.) fruit.
Best wishes,
Felix

Betreff: Help ID seed
Dear colleagues,
I'm working on identifying seed from France paleochenal excavation.
I would be grateful if you could help me to identifying this macro-rest.
There is : (first photo) a pericap and (second photo) inside the endocarpe very typical. The last photo is an 'apex or base' view
Thanks you
Caroline
