The second meeting of the Warwick R User Group will take place on Thursday 2nd February 2017 at 15:00–16:00 in the Department of Statistics at the University of Warwick. All are welcome, regardless of previous statistics knowledge or R programming experience.
Our first meeting was very well-attended and featured several excellent short talks. We are looking forward to another great session this week. The informal theme for this week is 'animation in R'. Talks will include:
* "Beyond the console: progress bars and animated plots for long-running jobs" — Matthew Neal (Statistics, Warwick)
* "Animated R plots: turn a series of plots into a GIF with the animation package in R" — Rachel Wilkerson (Statistics, Warwick)
Light refreshments will be provided.
Date: Thursday 2nd February
Time: 1500–1600
Venue: Statistics Common Room (C0.06), Zeeman Building, University of Warwick, Coventry CV4 7AL.
