Non Clinical Lecturer in Health Protection Research in Infectious Diseases

The NIHR Health Protection Research Unit in Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) is seeking to appoint a Non-Clinical Lecturer in Health Protection Research in Infectious Diseases. The individual will be expected to have a particular interest in Epidemiology, Statistics, Mathematics, Health Services Research or Health Economics.
The post-holder will be expected to participate in and support on-going programmes of research in the HPRU which is a large multidisciplinary infection research collaboration consisting of partners at Public Health England, The Sanger Institute, The University of Cambridge Veterinary School and the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust

In addition the post-holder will be expected to develop an independent research programme of their own applicable to both the developed and developing world, by applying for external funding and capitalising on the unprecedented access to data, samples and expertise available, including those of international collaborators.
Applicants from all relevant disciplines who can demonstrate a strong track record in the fields of epidemiology, modelling or health economics of AMR and/or the impact of Infectious Diseases will be considered.
