I’d like to draw your attention to an excellent interdisciplinary conference called ‘Facing the Future 2017’ in Dundee, Scotland on the 28th and 29th August 2017. This highly interactive conference is aimed at Masters and PhD students and early career researchers interested in building interdisciplinary perspectives and skills for shaping more sustainable/ resilient futures.
In 2017 the conference theme will be ‘collaborative power for societal transformation in a rapidly changing world’ and will focus on understanding the role and nature of collaboration for achieving transformative change and more sustainable and equitable futures (see https://www.dundee.ac.uk/cechr/postgraduates/ftf2017/). Registration is now open.
This event is taking place in the few days before an international interdisciplinary conference focusing on understanding of the practices that facilitate social and environmental transformations at local and at large scales in both developed and developing country contexts (see http://www.transformations2017.org/.)
Early career academics are encouraged to register for either the Facing the Future conference or both conferences.
