We are happy to announce the launch of a new peer-reviewed open access journal:
JEA: The Journal of Extreme Anthropology
https://www.journals.uio.no/index.php/JEA/index
Journal of Extreme Anthropology is an international, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary, open-access and indexed journal that publishes articles written in the fields of anthropology, social sciences, humanities, philosophy and critical theory specializing on extreme subjects, practices and theory. The journal publishes primarily monothematic issues, however, articles, essays and book reviews beyond the scope of the special issues are also welcome at any time.
Journal of Extreme Anthropology is connected to the emerging Extreme Anthropology Research Network<http://www.extreme-anthropology.com/> (http://www.extreme-anthropology.com<http://www.extreme-anthropology.com/>) which brings together researchers working on extreme, dangerous, obscene, controversial and unconventional subjects and increases public visibility of their research.
Interested contributors are encouraged to get in touch with the Editor-in-chief, Tereza Kuldova, at: [log in to unmask] prior to submission, in order to discuss the relevance of the proposed contribution to the journal.
Currently we are open to general submissions, as well as submissions to the special issue on ‘Extreme Masculinities’ – for the full CFP visit: https://www.journals.uio.no/index.php/JEA/index
