We are pleased to announce that a new issue of Democratic Theory has been published by Berghahn Journals. This issue examines the obstacles to deliberative inclusion, anti-democratic uses of sortition, concept of democracy has become standard reference within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The issue concludes with a book symposium and an interview, followed by a critical commentary section.
