Dear Usha,
I would recommend you to use spm12/config/spm_make_standalone.m to
create your standalone application as this function will make sure all
of SPM is compiled (mcc -a /path/to/spm12) and specificities of the
batch system will also be taken care of.
Also, depending on the content of your files main.m and preprocessing.m,
it is possible you might not have to do the compilation yourself and can
rely instead of the standalone SPM we provide:
