Readers of this list may be interested to know that the Space Syntax Laboratory is marking its integration within the UCL Bartlett School of Architecture with the relaunch of its Master’s and PhD programmes. We now offer the following routes:
Our MSc and MRes Space Syntax programmes (http://bit.ly/2gTb167) are uniquely centred in space syntax theories and methods. They equip students with the skills needed to analyse patterns of architectural and urban space, and help build an appreciation for the impact of design decisions on organisations, communities and society as a whole.
The MSc and MRes Architectural Computation programmes (http://bit.ly/2dUsCee) engage and advance the main technologies by which tomorrow’s architecture will be designed and constructed, equipping graduates with the ability to specialise in the latest design fields, such as parametric design.
The PhD Architectural Space and Computation programme (http://bit.ly/2gSvCJ5) allows students to conduct research into Space and Society in Buildings and Cities and Space Computing and Virtual Reality in Architecture.
The Lab's latest research can be viewed here: http://www.bartlett.ucl.ac.uk/architecture/research/ssl.
Yours,
Laura Vaughan, Director, Space Syntax Laboratory
