[Rydw i’n anfon neges hon at CPLl Cymru a LIS-Wales / Message is being sent to SCL Wales and LIS-Wales]

-------
Mae cydweithwyr yn Llywodraeth Cymru yn cynnal proses o ymgysylltu ar ddyfodol Cymunedau yn Gyntaf, sy'n cynnwys ceisio barn y sector diwylliannol. Mae MALD wedi cytuno i hwyluso'r broses.

Welsh Government colleagues are carrying out a process of engagement on the future of Communities First, which includes seeking the views of the cultural sector. MALD has agreed to facilitate this process.

Subject: Cymunedau yn Gyntaf / Communities First

Mewn Datganiad Llafar ar 11 Hydref 2016, cyhoeddodd Ysgrifennydd y Cabinet dros Gymunedau a Phlant fod bwriad ganddo i ddiddymu'n raddol Rhaglen Cymunedau yn Gyntaf, a sefydlu ffordd newydd o fynd ati i greu cymunedau cryf. Nododd hefyd y byddai angen ymgysylltu'n helaeth â rhanddeiliaid ac na fyddai'r penderfyniad terfynol yn cael ei wneud tan ar ôl cam cyntaf y broses ymgysylltu.

Mae swyddogion wrthi'n ymgysylltu â phartneriaid cyflawni a'r rheini sydd â phrofiad o raglen Cymunedau yn Gyntaf, yn cynnwys cyrff o sectorau y celfyddydau, treftadaeth a Diwylliant. Byddem yn ddiolchgar pe gallech ystyried y gyfres o gwestiynau yn Atodiad 1. Byddem yn croesawu adborth eich sefydliad ar y cwestiynau.

A fyddech cystal ag anfon yr ymatebion, erbyn 15 Ionawr 2017 man hwyrach, at:
Trafod Cymunedau, Llywodraeth Cymru, 2il Lawr, Craidd y Gogledd, Parc Busnes Rhyd-y-car, Merthyr Tudful CF48 1UZ. Fel arall, cysylltwch â ni'n uniongyrchol: [log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]>

On 11th October 2016 the Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Children signalled in an Oral Statement that he was minded to phase out the Communities First Programme and establish a new approach to building resilient communities. He also indicated that, following his Oral Statement, there would be extensive engagement with stakeholders and that no final decision will be made until after the first phase of the engagement process.

Officials are engaging with delivery partners and those with experience of CF, including bodies from the arts, culture and heritage sectors. A series of questions are attached, at Appendix 1, which we would be grateful if you could consider. We would welcome your organisation’s feedback on the questions.

Please return responses, by 15 January 2017 at the latest, to:
Talk Communities, Welsh Government, 2nd Floor, North Core, Rhydycar Business Park, Merthyr Tydfil CF48 1UZ. Alternatively contact us directly at: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
