Public Health England (PHE) is inviting applications for two posts within its Information Governance & Policy Office (IGPO):
• Information Governance Manager (Information Security) (NHS Jobs Reference: 919-NSB-13762969-EXT) https://www.jobs.nhs.uk/xi/vacancy/1f75fd2e4c29d6f7e0d02d120ab73e30/?vac_ref=914433657
• Information Governance Manager (Record Management) (NHS Jobs Reference: 919-NSB-13830955-EXT) https://www.jobs.nhs.uk/xi/vacancy/1f75fd2e4c29d6f7e0d02d120ab73e30/?vac_ref=914434699
IGPO is based in the Chief Knowledge Officer’s directorate and provides a corporate information governance (IG) support and assurance service to the whole of PHE. Its main responsibilities are to: advise senior management on IG priorities, risks and issues; provide operational advice, support and assurance; manage performance, particularly through the IG Toolkit assessment; lead the PHE contribution to national IG policy; and provide a corporate record management service.
PHE is looking for two experienced, high-caliber individuals to support the IGPO team leader and play a key role in providing this expert IG service. Both Information Governance Managers will act as the IGPO ‘business partner’ to a number of directorates, helping develop IG action plans, providing hands-on operational advice and support, monitoring performance, and delivering training. They will have excellent IG knowledge and experience, strong project management and delivery skills, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The successful candidates will also have a specific responsibility to act as the IGPO expert for information security and record management respectively, so will have particularly high levels of knowledge and expertise in these areas.
For further information or an informal discussion about the post, please contact Robert Kyffin ([log in to unmask]).

Rachael Brannan
