Dear all,
I’ve been using Motioncor2 separately and made use of the dose-weighted sums for processing and the not dose-weighted sums for CTF determination.
However, when I use Motioncor2 via Relion (GUI: do dose-weight set to yes) I only get one *.mrc file instead of two *_Dw.mrc and *.mrc.
Is there a bug I’m not aware of? Is the sum I get the dose-weighted one?
And I love the additional .eps output given by Relion2 showing the drift of each image.
However, would it be possible to add an average drift value at the end of the table for the whole-frame alignment of each image?
I used unblur before, which had such an average value in the output file. I find it very handy to grep and plot it in a table together with the CTF resolution fit. I have been using those two values as a criterium to discard “bad” images, and would like to do the same with Motioncor2.
Best,
Cristina
