Hi Christos
Possibly a normally closed switch along with the pager.
This should work ok if the pager triggers when the switch contacts go from open to closed.
Curtiss Wright supply a normally closed buddy button.

Subject: Switch activation on release
Hello everyone,
We are trying to set up a switch for a client that can be activated on release and we are hoping to use it with a stand alone pager. Is there any device that can accept a 3.5mm jack switch that can make this possible please?
Thank you.
