Dear all
We are currently reviewing the way that we record modules and grades received by our students when they undertake study abroad.
Our current practice is mixed, with a combination of RPL and ‘dummy’ Study Abroad modules being used.
• How does your institution record study abroad on academic transcripts?
• Do you record the modules the student would have enrolled on had they not gone abroad?
• Do you record generic ‘Study Abroad’ modules?
• Do you record the modules the student actually studied at the exchange institution?
• Do you record module grades as RPL or actual grades?
• If you record actual grades what do you do if the credit value of your own modules and the modules studied abroad are different?
Kind regards
Helen
