Reminder of funded PhD studentships in the Health Schools at King’s College London
1. MRC studentships – http://www.kcl.ac.uk/health/study/studentships/mrc-dtp-kbi-studentships/apply.aspx
2. Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre - http://www.maudsleybrc.nihr.ac.uk/training/current-opportunities-events/projects/
Many projects in both funding streams would be suitable for statisticians interested in working with biological and clinical data, and developing or applying relevant methods. Machine learning methods and precision medicine are a particular focus.
Deadline for applications is Sunday 11th December, and note that EU students are eligible for full funding in the BRC studentships.
Please circulate around students on relevant MSc courses, and I would be happy to discuss particular projects.
