The School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics,
which is part of the Faculty of Science and Engineering,
wishes to appoint 3 Lecturers in the Mathematical Sciences.
The School has responsibility for delivering courses in the mathematical sciences
across a wide range of disciplines as well as on its own degree programmes.
You will be expected to contribute to the delivery of the School's range of teaching in mathematics,
to undertake research and to participate in outreach and other activities.
You will be expected to hold a PhD in a mathematical discipline and to have evidence of carrying out
high quality research. You will also be expected to play a full part in the range of other activities
undertaken by this group of staff. Applicants with a proven track record for research and teaching
in the mathematical sciences are encouraged to apply,
especially in the areas of statistics and applied mathematics.
These are full-time positions working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
