Dear Wi,
in order to analyze ROI-defined volumes you have 2 options:
1. CAT12 | Extract ROI Data | Estimate mean values inside ROI
2. CAT12 | Analyze ROIs
The 1st option simply extracts mean volumes for each atlas as csv-file that can be further analyzed using external software such as SPSS or Excel.
I recommend the 2nd option that analyzes the ROI values using the same design as defined in your model (including all nuisance parameters).
Anyway, both options also extract WM values automatically for atlases where WM regions are defined (such as the Hammers atlas). Thus, you should have the extracted WM values for the Hammers atlas. Option 1 saves a file with the name "hammers__Vgm" at the end indicating that WM values were extracted for the Hammers atlas. Option 2 allows you to select the analysis of WM for the Hammers atlas.
Best,
Christian
