Hi all
One of our users has a problem with gaia "image analysis-aperture
photometry-results in data counts" under debian 8 amd64 linux with
starlink 2016a.
When loading a fits file, the image loads fine, but after defining a
regular aperture and trying to calculate the photometry, this error is
produced in the terminal...
GAIA_DIR = /star/bin/gaia
Error running autophotom:
!! Truncation during copy (destination 132 < source 134) of
!
'/local/php16gar/backed_up_on_astro3/all_ngc_raw/final_img/1508_notflats_
! aligned/aligned_r_extended_headers/final_east_g1508_align.fits'
! DAT_PUT: Error writing value(s) to an HDS primitive.
! NDF_ASSOC: Error associating an existing NDF structure with the 'IN'
! parameter.
! AUTOPHOTOM: Error processing objects.
Having done a few tests, I get the same result - I guess it's a problem
with on-the-fly conversion of something with a long length of
subdirectory structure?
Using convert fits2ndf to convert the file to sdf and then opening that
file works fine, as does copying the fits file to a few subdirectories
upwards.
Cheers
Paul.
