Thanks John, I've noticed that it's still a beta version based on the operations mentioned in tbx_cfg_shoot, but one can switch to corresponding modules from Dartel as far as I could see.
Anyway, to make sure what/why I was wondering, with Shoot one gets a y_ file and a v_file per default. I had interpreted the description in tbx_cfg_shoot as if velocity fields could be used for normalisation directly; and the pattern of v_ files is similar to that of u_ files. However, while the outputs from "Velocity field v_ (entered as a Dartel Flow) / backward & Pushforward" and "Velocity field v_ / forward & Pullback" are very similar (appart from the Pulling / Pushing issue), they differ from the output of "Deformation field y_ & Pullback". It's not very different, but there is a difference.
I just go with the y_ then ;-)
Best
Helmut
