The School of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Leeds is hosting a two day conference discussing struggles over 'home'. Day one looks at housing and place. Day two addresses migration, 'race' and multiculture. Plenaries from Manuel Aalbers, Kirsteen Paton, Kehinde Andrews, Tom Slater, Paul Watt, Gargi Bhattacharya and Sivamohan Valluvan plus paper sessions and short film screenings. Day tickets: £20 (free for unwaged).
