Below is the announcement of the vacant position at Yaşar University, İzmir, Turkey:

Yaşar University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design is seeking candidates for full-time positions (Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor or Professor). There are four positions for the areas defined below:
a. Candidates are expected to teach and coordinate Interior Architecture Studio courses. They are also expected to teach other Bachelor and/or Graduate degree courses related to their teaching and research interests. Candidates should also display their interests in innovative methods and tools of design teaching.
b. Candidates are expected to teach Structures, Materials and Detailing for Interiors. They are also expected to teach other Bachelor and/or Graduate degree courses related to research interests. Candidates should also display their interests in new materials and building technologies and innovative methods.
c. Candidates are expected to teach and coordinate Presentation, CAD-CAM and/or Furniture Design courses. They are also expected to teach other Bachelor and/or Graduate degree courses related to their teaching and research interests. Candidates should also display their interests in innovative methods or design/architectural representation, and should have experience in CAD and CAM tools and technologies.
d. Candidates are expected to teach and coordinate Indoor Environmental Control courses as well as Graduate Design Studios concerned with Environmental Systems. They are also expected to teach other Bachelor and/or Graduate degree courses related to their teaching and research interests.
Research motivation, collaboration skills and fluent skills in English will also be distinguishing factors in the assessment of applicants. A Bachelor, a Master’s or a PhD Degree in Interior Architecture/Design or in a closely-related field such as Architecture or Industrial Design is required. Previous teaching experience in the subject area as well as coordination skills is requested.
