Lancaster University has a world-class reputation as a centre for excellence in teaching and research. The Division of Health Research (DHR) within Lancaster University’s Faculty of Health and Medicine is seeking to appoint a Professor in Public Health to join an innovative division with a high quality research active environment offering a range of courses.
You should have already established an excellent track record in the field of Public Health, including recent publications in internationally recognised journals, success in education, and experience of administrative duties. You will be expected to participate fully in the intellectual life of the Division, to maintain a high quality research agenda that reaches out to external networks of collaborators as well as leading the Public Health Theme.The Faculty provides an environment that strongly supports the individual needs of each employee, promoting a healthy work-life balance and providing family-friendly and flexible working policies. The Faculty received an Athena SWAN Charter Silver Award in 2014, which recognises and celebrates good employment practice undertaken to address gender equality in higher education and research.
